Estrategias de intervención psicológica en Alzheimer de Inicio Temprano: Una revisión sistemática

Resumen

La Enfermedad de Alzheimer de Inicio Precoz (EAIP) es una forma infrecuente de demencia que se presenta antes de los 65 años y que conlleva un importante impacto cognitivo, emocional y social. Aunque existen numerosas investigaciones sobre la Enfermedad de Alzheimer de Inicio Tardío, las intervenciones psicológicas y psicosociales específicas para la EAIP no han sido sistematizadas. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo identificar y analizar la evidencia científica disponible sobre dichas intervenciones. Se realizó una revisión sistemática siguiendo las directrices PRISMA (2020) en las bases de datos PubMed, CINAHL, Medline, Cochrane y Web of Science, complementada con búsqueda manual en Google Scholar. De las 80 referencias obtenidas, ninguna cumplió con los criterios de inclusión establecidos, evidenciando la ausencia de estudios experimentales o cuasi-experimentales centrados en la EAIP. Este vacío de evidencia refleja la necesidad urgente de desarrollar y evaluar programas psicológicos adaptados a esta población. Los resultados destacan la importancia de impulsar investigaciones interdisciplinarias que integren la neuropsicología, la psicología clínica y el enfoque psicosocial, con el fin de diseñar intervenciones basadas en la evidencia que mejoren la calidad de vida de los pacientes y sus familias.
