La Identidad Étnica y el Papel de la Educación

El presente artículo de revisión de estudios sobre la construcción de la identidad étnica, adopta un punto de partida como es la situación que se presenta en Colombia en donde se produce rápidamente un proceso de confluencia de identidades culturales que provienen de la multidiversidad étnica. Muchas veces se considera con razones válidas que esta característica colombiana de ser multiétnica, ya que coinciden en su espacio territorial negros afrodescendientes, eslavos, arios, nativos aborígenes y sirios libaneses, es una potencialidad, ya que pone al servicio del desarrollo interno, la experiencia de muchas culturas. Sin embargo, los procesos de aculturación persisten en imponer lentamente sus dominios, esto es así, porque los territorios no están definidos por etnia, todas estas se encuentran dispersas, en muchos casos atomizadas en las ciudades, conduciendo a construir lo que algunos han denominado el hombre cósmico, como producto cultural de una multiplicidad de etnias.
