Aplicaciones y herramientas digitales para el aprendizaje en la educación inicial: Una revisión sistemática de prácticas pedagógicas y resultados educativos (2020 – 2026)

Resumen

La utilización de aplicaciones y herramientas digitales en la educación infantil genera oportunidades de aprendizaje, si bien los resultados positivos están relacionados con condiciones pedagógicas y contextuales. Su propósito fue revisar de manera sistemática la evidencia sobre estos recursos, para identificar las prácticas pedagógicas, los resultados educativos y los factores facilitadores y barreras para la integración. Se realizó una síntesis exploratoria de un conjunto de 15 artículos concernientes a niños, familias, docentes y aplicaciones educativas, a partir de una lectura documental, organizativa en matrices y análisis narrativo-temático. Comparados con el grupo control, los estudios reportaron beneficios específicos en alfabetización emergente, escritura, matemáticas y pensamiento computacional, siendo los resultados heterogéneos en función de las habilidades iniciales y el diseño de las intervenciones. Estas actividades han incluido juegos digitales, programación, investigación y actividades manipulativas acompañadas por un adulto. La pertinencia evolutiva, la retroalimentación y el respaldo institucional potenciaron la implementación; la incertidumbre docente, la sobrecarga laboral y la carencia de habilidades prerrequisito representaron obstáculos para la misma. Se concluye que tales recursos pueden complementar la experiencia educativa cuando en ellos se atienden fines claros y necesidades infantiles. La heterogeneidad metodológica limita la generalización y plantea la necesidad de investigaciones longitudinales que permitan evaluar la permanencia y transferencia de los aprendizajes.
